Keysight 8447A Highlights

The Keysight 8447A was discontinued on 1-February-2010. Recommended alternatives are model numbers 317 or 354 from Sonoma Instrument. See Sonoma Instrument data sheets.

The Keysight 8447A is a low-noise, high gain amplifier used to improve the sensitivity of counters, spectrum analyzers, RF voltmeters, EMI meters, power meters and other devices. They will also increase the maximum power available from a signal generator or sweeper.

Keysight offers 5-year support life to this product. Additionally, we give our best effort to provide information on obsolete products which are no longer under support life.

  • Gain (mean, per channel): 20 dB at 10 MHz
  • Noise figure: < 7 dB
  • Output power for 1 dB
  • Gain compression: > + 6 dBm
